Mark Myers started taking extracurricular art classes in the second grade, and had a work published in Western Horseman magazine at the age of 17. While earning his Associates degree in Agriculture in 1992, he was introduced to the world of computer graphics with CorelDraw! 3, which he employed to create covers and graphics for various college papers, both for himself and his classmates, and to produce various printed pieces for friends and family.
Mark continued working in the graphic arts, in a limited capacity, throughout a two year stint as assistant manager of a retail store, and during the pursuit of his Bachelors degree in Bible, completed in 2000. In October of that year, he traveled to Colombia where he assisted in the proofreading of a new translation of the Bible and produced various promotional pieces for Colombia Para Cristo, including a brochure for an international mission conference.
Mark worked for a year as staff designer for First Baptist Church and then for a year and a half for the Sierra Vista Herald / Bisbee Daily Review as a staff designer. He is well-versed in Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, and Photoshop, and is continually expanding his knowledge and expertise through personal study. He is also proficient in AppleScript and is learning JavaScript and Java
