Q: How do I become a Hallowell dealer?

A: By working with us on your initial project, yoxu will gain the knowledge you need to size, specify and install an Acadia system. Please contact us for more information on becoming a dealer.

Q: Where do I got to get information on becoming a dealer?

A: If you’re interested in becoming a Hallowell dealer, give us a call and we’ll walk you through the process. We are constantly accepting new dealers into our network and we would be happy to work with you.

Q: Do you offer technical support?

A: Yes. There is 24 hour factory direct technical support at your disposal. Call 207 990 5600 x118 for answers to your technical questions.

Q: What do you require to become a dealer?

A: We are always looking to add to our growing list of Hallowell Dealers. The companies that sell Hallowell products provide exceptional technical and customer service. Please contact us to get more information.

Q: Where can I purchase an Acadia system?

A: Depending on your location, you may be able to buy from one of our distributors or from Hallowell International directly. Please see our Dealer section for a list of areas that are served by our distributors.

Q: Where do I locate replacement parts?

A: The Acadia system is composed of parts that are available at HVAC supply houses across the country. Can’t find the part that you need? Contact us and we’ll be able to get one out to you right away.

Q: Do you offer a warranty?

A: The Acadia system comes with a 5 year limited parts warranty, including the compressors. A standard RMA procedure is used to track the repair parts. Please contact our technical department for replacement/warranty parts.

Q: Are there any extended warranty options?

A: There is extended warranty coverage available through a third party that will extend the length of the warranty to 10 years.

Q: What is the availability of your products?

A: We try to keep stock available for immediate shipment, but the numbers do fluctuate. We are currently running on a 3-5 week lead time. To get up to the minute information on availability, give us a call.

Q: Does the Acadia work with other air handlers or thermostats?

A: Yes, however we do require that the alternatives be approved by our technical department. As a general guidline: air handlers are required to have a variable speed fan and a coil approved for use with R410a. Thermostats must be 3 heat/2 cool. If you have a component that meets these requirements, please give us a call before proceeding with the installation.

Q: Are snow legs required? If so, where do I get them?

A: The Acadia system does need to be installed on snow legs. The height of the legs varies depending on your location. See the installation manual for more information on the specific height required. We have designed snow legs specifically for the Acadia and they are available through any Hallowell salesperson. Standard “pump-up” legs con be used as well.

Q: Do you offer a hydronic application?

A: Right now we do not have a hydronic system. We are currently developing a hydronic system which we expect to release next year. Keep an eye on our News and Products Under Development pages for up to date information.

Q: Is the heat pump hot water heater available?

A: The heat pump hot water heater is currently available for large products. We expect to offer the heat pump hot water heater for consumer purchase by the end of 2007. Please click here (embed water heater page link) for more information.

Q: How do I get pricing?

A: Depending on your location, pricing is available through your distributor or direct from the factory. Give us a call and we’ll be able to direct you to someone who can help.
